Privacy policy

Lichi is a free wishlist app for family and friends. It has no ads, doesn't sell your data and doesn't use analytics or tracking. This page explains what the app stores and why.
What we store
- Your account: your email address, your display name and how you sign in (Google, Apple, or email and password).
- Your profile picture: your Google profile photo, or a picture you upload.
- What you create: the events you create or join, your wishlists and their items, and the invitations you send, including the email address of the person you invite.
- Your claims: the items you mark as interested, reserved or purchased on other people's lists.
- Basic activity: when your account was created and when you last used the app.
We use this only to run the app. Nothing is used for advertising.
Who can see it
Only the members of an event can see that event, its wishlists, and each member's name, email address and profile picture. People outside your events see nothing.
The claims others make on your own list are hidden from you. That's the point of the app.
Where it's stored
Lichi runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), which stores and processes the data on our behalf. Read the Firebase privacy information.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. See how to delete your account and what gets removed.
Your rights
You can see and edit your data in the app at any time, and delete your account whenever you want. For anything else, such as a copy of your data, contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
